Welcome to the European Bird List website

This project is a child of three people brought together thanks to their enthusiasm for birds, no matter if that means birdwatching, photography or something else. Despite a simple idea at the beginning, we thought that this can be something that other people might like as well and so we decided to make this website which might serve as a meeting point of all the people somehow connected with birds, birdwatching or bird photography in Europe. The primary function of this website is the simple system of birding records - Bird Lists that can easily be filled up and modified by the birders.

But there is much more going on here! You can share your information and make use of many applications we have arranged for you: You can "compete" with other birders in the number of observed birds in Europe, You can set up your own birding blog, You can use the Forum section for asking question about the observed birds, You can browse the list of Rarities that hopefully  will grow over time; You can find friends and other birdwatchers in your area as well as in the places you want to visit - use the map function to search for the locals who can show you good birding spots. Check their profiles, maybe they provide birding guidance too. Do not hesitate and register to get access to all these useful information. It is all for free. We try to build a community but we need You to help us. We hope you will like this place and support its growth with your contributions.
